Anyway, let's get on with it.. As you may or may not remember I was in a bad mood on Tuesday. Because of that I was determined to go to the gym after work. Best decision ever and NSV #1.

Christie, our instructor, worked us hard. It was "Cardio Blast" day, so we did kick boxing. And I'm fairly certain I couldn't feel my arms for the last 20 minutes of class. But I felt so good afterwards. Then I got home to make dinner and made good choices because I didn't want to waste all of the work I had just put in. NSV #2.

But I went to bed later, because I had a ton to get done, so I thought for sure I'd be exhausted the next morning. Turns out, I really wasn't. I was in a super good mood. I was talking to one of my older brothers about it and he said it's probably the after affects of all of the exercise I've been doing. It's sending out good and happy endorphins. So all day yesterday I made good food choices because I was loving that feeling and didn't want to waste it. NSV #3.

It was the perfect trifecta of non-scale victories! They all revolved around my exercise. Which was exactly the boost I needed to keep going. And now I'm making better food choices and I'm even going to start meal-planning (more on that later).

my yummy snack today
So I'm a happy, happy girl once again!

    1. Thank you! And yea, I'm trying to remember the way I felt the next morning, so that every time I don't want to work out, I can talk myself into it!

  3. Kick boxing sounds like so much fun, I've always wanted to try it out but my gym doesn't offer any classes! I also feel awesome when I wake up the morning after an awesome workout - endorphins are best :)
